Strepsils Sore Throat And Cough Lozenges provide relief from mouth and throat infections and dry, irritating coughs.
Strepsils Sore Throat And Cough Lozenges contain two antiseptic ingredients (2,4- Dichlorobenzyl alcohol and Amylmetacresol) for use in throat medications.
These are used fo the symptomatic relief of:
- Mouth and throat infections
- Dry, irritating coughs
- Common cold
- Nasal congestrion
The Levomenthol ingredient has a mild local anaesthetic action on the throat and also relieves the symptoms of nasal congestion.
Suitable for: Adults and children (over 6 years old) and the elderly.
Not suitable for children under 6 years.
Directions of Use:
Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours.
Cautions & Warnings:
- No more than 12 lozenges per day.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
- For oral administration only.
- If you are pregnant, or if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking.
Rare possible side effects:
Like all medicines, Strepsils Sore Throat and Cough Lozenges can cause side effects, although not everybody experiences them.
If you experience any hypersensitivity to this product (such as itching) stop taking this product and consult your doctor.
Active Ingredients:
2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg, Amylmetacresol 0.6mg, Levomenthol 8.0mg
The other ingredients are: Liquid sucrose, Liquid glucose, Tartaric acid, Eucalyptus oil, Indigo carmine (E132).
